Autobahn Police Simulator is the first simulation to realistically reflect the working life of a police officer on the German Autobahn. In numerous and diverse operations the player is responsible for enforcing law and order on Europe’s fastest roads.
In addition to the 40 missions revolving around the daily duties of the Autobahn Police, one can enjoy the extensive “Free Play” mode. This mode generates random radio calls for operations which the player is free to accept. All in all, this mode includes 100 additional operations at various locations and times of day. Accidents can be more or less severe and can also include trucks. The fully equipped patrol car houses all material needed to secure and inspect the accident site. Emergency vehicles, fire trucks and rescue services complete the scene at the accident.
Another option available to the player is to use the “Bitte folgen” (Follow Me) sign of the patrol car to flag down suspicious cars. Drivers trying to escape have to be chased down and stopped. In the course of an inspection, the driver has to be examined for alcohol abuse, possession of drugs and for the roadworthiness of his car.
The simulation covers a total Autobahn stretch of 40 kilometres (approx. 25 miles). Some sections have a speed limit where the player can perform speed checks out of an unmarked police car.
Realistic radio communications create a real life and exciting atmosphere, further enhanced by the day and night mode with its emergency light operations.
The game offers a view from within the car as well as from an exterior camera view with a free movement. Using a steering wheel will make the simulation even more enjoyable. – Steam
One Drop Bot is a 3D Puzzle-Platformer where you play as a cute yet somewhat creepy robot, traveling from one room to the next solving challenges, each something different from the last. These challenges will test your skills in a variety of ways. Collecting health throughout the game is key, because when you die, and you will, all health collected up to that point comes back. That means that at respawn, all health ever collected respawns with you as well. The catch, however, is that you have to start over at the very beginning of the game similar to a rogue-like.
The system of dying and restarting from the beginning may seem daunting at first, but the game is rather short, being sectioned out into three major parts. Also, as you play, you’ll find that while restarting is often frustrating, overcoming it is rewarding in a way that easier games can’t be. This game is meant for those looking for a real challenge, so be wary.
The inspiration for this game was the simple yet at times frustrating challenge found in retro games of the 8-bit and 16-bit era. ‘One Drop Bot’ attempts to bring this kind of challenge into a 3D environment, providing a refreshing experience that is sure to satisfy someone looking for a new challenge.
The game is sectioned out into rooms, much like how a retro game would be sectioned out into screens or levels. Each room contains a challenge or two that the player must overcome in order to advance into the next. Unlike many older games however, each challenge is unique from the last, providing you with more new challenges the farther you get.
‘One Drop Bot’ is a game that is sure to challenge even the most skilled of players. So if you’re looking for a new kind of challenge, this is the game for you. Don’t take my word for it though, play the game yourself, and see what kind of challenges await you. – Steam
Rayman Legends was announced at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2012 for Wii U and was planned for release during the console’s launch window. However, the game was delayed and released several months later on multiple platforms, due to the financial failure of ZombiU.
Rayman Legends received critical acclaim upon release. Critics praised the game’s visuals, level design, controls, soundtrack, overall gameplay, and the large amount of content. Some critics went as far as calling Rayman Legends one of the best platforming video games ever made, and the game won several awards from video gaming publications. The game experienced sluggish sales at the beginning of its release, but sold well and contributed to the company’s earnings just a year after. – Wikipedia
